This assures that instructors provide quality training, adhere to training standards and conduct themselves professionally.Since the first SSI Regional Center opened in Southeast Asia in 1983, SSI has expanded around the world at a very rapid pace. Your SSI Certification Card is welcomed all over the planet, wherever you choose to dive, making it easier to dive all across the world.

In 1998, SSI adopted the slogan “serious diving. serious fun.” for a multi-faceted marketing program. We loved the slogan because it summed up our attitude about the sport of scuba diving.
