My website has been updated

As some of my readers (mostly friends) has pointed out, it’s been a while since I updated my website. Last post was written in August 2005 and that was also the last time i updated the software which makes my website possible. I have therefor used the past 2-3 days to update the software so that it should be state of the art. There is a couple of smaller bugs which I will have to deal with at a later stage.

For some travelers in Asia, part of the appeal is feeling richer than the local population. Well, in Singapore forget it. Its a wealthy place and has the prices to match. It is clean, modern, organized, and efficient. It is, in other words, a comfort zone where there is almost zero chance of getting food poisoning, pick-pocketed, or even bitten by a mosquito. And yet it retains the variety of flavor of Asian from its ethnic neighborhoods to its funky food stalls, temples, markets and colonial architecture.

The cosmopolitan capital of Bangkok is home to Asia’s first dental spa offering aromatherapy and relaxing foot, body and head massage in an avant garde spa-style setting as part of the dental treatment package. Most patients shudder at there mere though of a visit to the dentist. Time spent in the waiting room is an anxious and traumatic experience. The monotone whirring and hum of the dentist’s drill typically heard in the waiting room heightens the element of fear as patients vividly “re-live” memories of their last session in the dentist’s chair.
